Planning
First the need, then the circuit
Before the first channel is cut, we walk through every room with you and note where appliances will stand, where light is needed, and what might be added in five years.
An electrical system is defined during the shell construction phase and then used for decades. That's why we don't start with a materials-list price, but with a walkthrough: we record appliance locations, light points, network sockets and reserve capacity in the distribution board. From this assessment comes a quote that names each circuit individually — you see what you're paying for and can strike out or add individual items before construction begins.
For extensions and additions, we first inspect the existing system. Is the distribution board sufficient, can the supply cable carry the additional load, is a residual current device fitted? We discuss the result openly — even if it points toward an electrical system upgrade.

Scope of services
Six trades under one roof
From the first channel cut to the last socket, the same team stays on site — you have one point of contact instead of five subcontractors.

Rough-in installation
Chasing, drilling, setting boxes, laying conduit and sheathed cables — coordinated with the schedule of bricklayers, drywallers and screed layers.

Distribution board installation
Sub-distribution board with circuit breakers and residual current devices, neatly organised, every terminal labelled and documented in the circuit schedule.

Sockets and switches
Precision installation to measurements: position, height and switching layout are agreed together before plastering, so nothing ends up hidden behind a cupboard.

Lighting
Light outlets, dimmers, motion sensors and outdoor lighting — including connection of the fixtures you choose.

Data cabling
Network cabling with patch panel, plus TV and antenna connections. On request, we test the runs and hand over the measured values.

Testing and acceptance
Measurement of the completed system, test report and briefing. We also carry out subsequent periodic inspections as part of the E-Check.

We build sub-distribution boards with free spaces and labelled terminals, so a wallbox or an additional circuit doesn't become a renovation project later.
Process
Your installation takes shape – step by step
From the first site visit to the test report, we work in defined steps. This way, you always know who is on site when, and what happens next.
1. Site Visit and Assessment
We take a look at the meter cabinet, distribution board and existing cables. In existing buildings, we check whether a protective earth conductor is present, what cross-section the supply cable has, and how many circuits the distribution board can still accommodate. In new builds, we go through the floor plan with you.

Together we determine where sockets, switches, light fittings and network outlets will go. The kitchen, bathroom and study each get their own circuits, while major consumers such as the cooker, instantaneous water heater or wallbox get their own dedicated supply line. You receive an installation plan with all positions marked.
You receive a fixed-price quote broken down by trade: chasing work, cable routing, distribution board assembly, and device installation. Items that can only be determined once the wall is opened up are listed separately as contingency items – so there are no surprises later.
We cut chases, install device boxes and pull the cables through. After this, the system is measurable but not yet plastered. At this stage we walk through the rooms with you once more – this is the most cost-effective point to make any changes to positions.
The distribution board is fitted out: circuit breakers for each circuit, residual current devices (RCDs) for the socket circuits, and surge protection if needed. We then fit switches, sockets and light fittings and permanently label every circuit.
Before commissioning, we carry out tests in accordance with DIN VDE 0100-600: continuity of protective conductors, insulation resistance, loop impedance and RCD trip times. You receive the test report, the wiring diagram and the distribution board schedule – documents you will need for a sale or insurance claim.
Costs
What determines the price
Electrical installation is not billed at a flat rate per square metre, but according to the number of circuits, the metres of cable to be run, and the amount of work involved on the wall.
These factors determine the effort involved
- New build or existing building
In a shell construction, the cables lie exposed in the masonry or ceiling – this goes quickly. In occupied existing buildings, chasing, dust protection, surface restoration and staged work are added.
Existing buildings significantly more work
- Number of circuits
Each additional circuit means one more cable, circuit breaker, terminal work and test. A flat with eight circuits costs noticeably less than one with sixteen.
Main cost driver
- Condition of the meter cabinet
Old meter cabinets with fabric-insulated cables or no room for RCDs must be replaced. This is a separate item and is coordinated with the grid operator Schleswig-Holstein Netz.

- Installation method
Flush-mounted in masonry, surface-mounted in the cellar, or cable duct in commercial premises differ greatly in time required. Concrete costs more than sandstone, and half-timbered construction requires special solutions.

You choose the materials yourself – from the standard range to glass or metal frames. We list installation and materials separately, so you can make a conscious decision here.

- On-site difficulties
Narrow stairwells, lack of parking, work only permitted outside business hours, or suspected asbestos in old building components all affect the calculation. We address this before submitting the quote.

You can reduce the effort yourself: clear rooms before work begins, reserve a parking space for the service vehicle, and have existing documents such as old wiring diagrams or grid operator statements ready. For managed flats, we also need access to the meter cabinet in the basement. A reliable price can only be determined after a site visit – we deliberately do not give estimates over the phone.
