Rendsburg and the surrounding area: our service area

We charge a flat call-out fee per job, tiered by distance from our base in Rendsburg. Within the city area and the directly adjoining municipalities, the lowest tier applies; more distant locations within the district fall into a higher tier. We tell you the flat fee when scheduling the appointment, before we set off – it remains unchanged on the invoice afterwards. If a property management company has several units at one address, the call-out fee is only charged once.

For larger projects such as an electrical refurbishment or a new installation, we're happy to travel further by arrangement, for example towards Eckernförde, Nortorf or Hohn. For short individual jobs and emergency callouts, however, we stay within the core area so that response times remain reliable for our regular customers. Just ask us – we'll tell you honestly whether we can reasonably take on the job.

Within the core area, the actual travel time is usually under 20 minutes. What matters most, though, is how busy the day is: faults involving danger, such as an overheated distribution board or a power outage in an apartment building, take priority. Minor faults, like a single dead socket, are scheduled into the next available slot. On the phone, we ask specific questions to distinguish clearly between the two.

Yes. We group jobs by local area to reduce unnecessary trips. That's why we sometimes suggest a day when we're already going to be on your street. For you, that means a shorter wait; for us, fewer kilometres driven. If your appointment is flexible timewise, please let us know.

It helps to have: access to the meter cabinet and the sub-distribution board, the key to the basement or utility room, any existing documents such as wiring diagrams or old inspection reports, and a free parking spot nearby. For rented flats, please arrange in advance who will let us in. On average, this saves half a working hour per job.

Yes, that's a large part of our work. We keep property data, contact persons and the status of recurring inspections on file, so you don't have to explain everything again for every job. If several properties are in the same local area, we plan walkthroughs and inspection dates together and invoice the call-out fee accordingly as a combined charge.
