Electrical work in house and home
We install sockets, replace consumer units, retrofit RCD safety switches and refurbish entire systems – in your lived-in home, with respect for your daily routine.
Work in living spaces
From an extra socket to full refurbishment
Most jobs for private customers take half a day to a full day – for larger refurbishments, we plan room by room so you can keep living in your home.
Most calls start with a small trigger: the socket behind the sofa is missing, the kitchen is getting an oven with its own supply line, or the light flickers in the bathroom. At the appointment, we take a look at the whole system with you – distribution board, cable runs, protective devices. Often it stays a small job. Sometimes it turns out that part of the installation is older than the house can handle. In that case, we say so openly and lay out both options with clear figures.
- Adding, relocating or replacing sockets and switches
- Lighting: ceiling outlets, spotlights, outdoor and motion sensor lights
- Retrofitting RCDs, separating circuits
- Distribution board replacement including labelling and documentation
- Electrical safety testing of the system and portable appliances
- Supply lines for cookers, ovens, washing machines, wallboxes
- Network, TV and doorbell cabling
- Fault finding for tripping circuit breakers
Our services for you
Four areas, one point of contact
Whether it's a single job or a complete overhaul: you'll always deal with the same technician, who carries out the work and measures the system afterwards.

Electrical installation
New sockets, light fixtures, switch points and supply lines – flush-mounted, in trunking, or in new builds before plastering.

Electrical renovation
Old wiring, missing protective earth, overloaded circuits: we renew room by room or all at once, depending on habitability.

Electrical safety checks and inspections
Inspection of the fixed installation and your appliances according to recognised standards, with a measurement report and defect list for your records.

Fault repair service
Fuse trips, no power in half the house, a burning smell at the distribution board: we track down the fault and switch off safely.
How a job proceeds
Working in occupied homes – without the chaos
Your home stays your home while we work: we only switch off the circuits we're actually working on, and we tidy up at the end of every day.
Process
How your job proceeds
Whether it's a single socket or a complete electrical refurbishment: the path from your first call to handover always follows the same steps with us. This means you know in advance who will be at your home and when, which rooms are affected, and what to expect.
1. Inquiry and initial clarification
On the phone or via the contact form, we clarify the basics: the age of the building, the type of existing distribution, whether aluminium or copper cabling is installed, and whether a protective earth conductor is present. For small jobs such as an extra socket, this is often enough to arrange an appointment.

For small jobs such as an extra socket, this is often enough to arrange an appointment.
For larger projects, we inspect the system on site. We open the meter cabinet, check the fuses, residual current devices (RCDs) and cable cross-sections, and note down the desired locations for sockets, switches and lights. Photos and measurements feed into the planning.
You receive a written quote listing materials and labour separately. This also includes ancillary work such as chasing, drilling and closing up the chases afterwards. Anything that cannot yet be reliably calculated is explicitly marked as an estimate.
We agree on working days with you and let you know which rooms will be off-limits when, and how long the power needs to be switched off. In occupied flats, we work room by room so that the kitchen and refrigeration appliances stay powered as continuously as possible.
We protect floors and furniture, run cables, install sockets and rebuild the distribution board. Dust is mainly generated when chasing walls; we work with extraction and clean up the site every day.
Finally, we test according to DIN VDE 0100-600: continuity of the protective earth conductor, insulation resistance, loop impedance and RCD tripping. You receive the test report, an up-to-date wiring diagram for the distribution board, and a brief handover briefing.
What you can prepare in advance
Costs
Common cases and what they cost
The following ranges are based on typical jobs from Rendsburg and the surrounding area. They do not replace a quote, but they give you a reliable ballpark figure before we arrange the first appointment. All prices include VAT.
Guide prices for private households
Reference values, depending on access, wall construction and the condition of the existing installation.
Kleine Arbeiten
- Additional socket in an existing circuit
Branch from an existing socket, chase up to around one metre, socket fitted and wall closed up. Tiles or concrete noticeably increase the effort involved.
- Replacing a faulty switch or dimmer
Includes a visual check of the terminal points in the same circuit. If the fabric insulation is brittle, we'll discuss the condition of the cable with you.
Verteilung
- Retrofitting an RCD
A residual current device disconnects the circuit if current flows through the body or a damp wall. Price depends on the space available in the distribution board.
- Renewing the meter cabinet
New cabinet to current standards, division of circuits, registration with the grid operator and recommissioning by the metering point operator.
Sanierung
- Electrical refurbishment of a flat, approx. 80 m²
New cabling, sufficient circuits for kitchen and bathrooms, distribution board, testing and documentation. Excludes painting and plastering work.
Prüfung
- E-Check for the single-family home
Visual, measurement and functional inspection of the entire installation including a report -- often recognised by insurers and requested when selling a house.
Störung
- Fault callout
Call-out within the Rendsburg area plus working time as required. A surcharge applies outside business hours, which we'll state in advance.
